Huts here, just keep writing what you feel like. But I would be really jealous if you caught one brook trout then posted the pictures.
ReplyDeleteI think this is the first blog I've ever read that tailored itself to me; I was always under the impression that this was primarily a self-centered medium. Let me address your questions in order.
ReplyDeleteDo you read this?
No.
What do you like about it?
The stories. The pictures. I've never been to New Zealand, and don't know when I'll ever go, so I'm curious about what it's like there. I also haven't seen you in several months, so I'm curious about what you're up to.
What suggestions do you have?
As in, advice on life? Maybe don't keep your passport in your purse? Sorry, 's all I got. I don't have it figured out any better than you do.
What do you want to read or see more of?
More pictures. The stories are good, so keep those coming by all means, but maybe set up a Flickr or something. When I was in Germany, it felt stupid to take pictures of mundane things I saw and did every day, but I saw a picture of the Münchner Freiheit the other day and damn if it didn't make me homesick. Take pictures of things you walk past. Boring things. Stupid things. Yourselves. The town. I don't know. I need more coffee.
I had a blog for two years, and even sent it out to over 100 people every week, rather than rely on them to come on their own. I had almost zero comments. So, you're doing pretty good so far. If you don't get more, that's just par for the course I guess. I don't think people "get" that a blog is supposed to be a "conversation."
ReplyDeleteYou're both very good writers, and the photos are stunning. Just keep up what you've been doing.
