Lewis and Jamie, the Scottish boys, playing Jen's fork game.
Our Thanksgiving table.
Taking our seats.
My first ever attempt at a roasted turkey! Looks pretty swell, eh? Eh?
The ladies. (Us, Holly, Sky.)
Jony and his delicious empanadas.
One of the chocolate turkeys mom mailed me. :)
One of Jen's AMAZING apple pies.
Jamie, assisting to pick turkey bits up off the floor.
Dan was very amused by the pieces of apple peel.
TURKEY ON THE LOOSE!
And Jen was frustrated by the lack of a rolling pin. We completed the entire meal without measuring spoons, measuring cups, rolling pins, or turkey thermometers.
looks like loads of fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat would you have thought if someone told you last November you'd be in a place called Pahia eating Thanksgiving turkey THIS November?
ReplyDeleteLooks like you really pulled it together quite nicely.
You were with us yesterday. And I am glad you shared your day with us. Friends are wonderful to have all around you until you get back into the arms of your family. And perhaps bring some of your friends with you. That is exactly what our Thanksgiving was. People so close, you forget who are friends and family, and just bask in the joy of the day and being alive.
ReplyDeleteHey, that comment above is mine. It says Andrew. How is that?
